This shouldn’t work: Don Diablo, a Dutch house upstart who’s recently been touring with Carl Cox among others, and Example a mediocre rapper. However it does, it really does. It’s a cheeky number about how cat and dog lovers can’t get on with a wicked electro-inspired bassline throughout.

Depeche Mode (last.fm/myspace) have returned with a new album Sounds of the Universe. Haven’t heard it all yet but I’ve been listening to the single Wrong for a while yet and it rocks. However, D.I.M. and Boys Noize have given it their usual electro banging treatment to turn it into a veritable hotcake. Oh yes.
